Nigel Griffiths
Nigel is the Founder of The Enfys Acumen. He has been coaching organisations
and people for most of the last 20 years, but only quite recently found out that
that is what it is called! So convinced is he of the value of coaching,he regularly
receives coaching himself.
He was born and bred in Holyhead, North Wales and is semi-
has lived in Newport, South Wales since 1984 (except for 2 years “missionary
work” in Shropshire, England in the late 1980s). He qualified initially with a BEd
in Special Education and after two years in the classroom, became a manager and developer
of organisations. Starting from quite humble beginnings he went on to be the Chief

Nigel is a member of the Coaching Academy, the largest organisation of its kind in Europe and has an MSc in Interprofessional Studies. He was recently awarded an advanced diploma in marketing for coaches.
Nigel balances work with supporting his children’s activities, especially NHSOB Junior Rugby. He is also a leader in the Scout Association and from which he holds the Queen’s Scout Award.

Vivienne Leach
Vivienne Leach is a Business Educator who designs workshops that provide
solutions to stimulate creativity and growth – ultimately geared towards
developing people.
As a finalist in “The Effective Woman Returner to the Workplace” Category in
the Welsh Woman of the Year Awards 2004 and now operating as a Business
Adviser, supporting women and lone parents at pre-
business stages, Vivienne provides leadership (via her own example of having
taken the step into self-
Vivienne was awarded an MBA and a PGCE in 2002. As part of her ongoing commitment to personal development and high quality service delivery, she is completing a Diploma in Corporate and Executive Coaching.
Vivienne is working with the Enfys Acumen on the Ideas Powerhouse initiative.
Steve Cranston OBE
Steve Cranston (www.stevecranston.com) is a passionate, energetic and
experienced social entrepreneur with a track record of delivery. For over 12
years he led Arts Factory from being a small South Wales Valleys based
voluntary group into a vibrant development trust -
a model of best practice. He was a founder member of Development Trusts
Association Wales holding the position of chair until 2004. He was appointed
by the Welsh Assembly Government Minister for Regeneration and Social
Justice to sit on the Social Enterprise Action Plan Working Group and made the case for more investment in community owned assets. Before setting up his own business, Steve he led on National Energy Action’s work in Wales to eradicate fuel poverty.
Steve has a strong track record of delivering ambitious projects in challenging environments
– including: the creation of a cutting edge win/win £10 million windfarm joint venture
with Eon UK: an ability to launch social enterprises in hostile business environments:

Elena Dickie
Elena Dickie is the owner founder of ED Coaching, working with businesses to
improve performance, thus creating a win-
organisation, its people and its clients.
Each and every one of us has untapped skills and abilities and it is ED
Coaching’s mission to assist clients to uncover and develop these skills and
abilities to improve performance.
From a business and corporate background Elena held a variety of positions in various businesses and has experienced the challenges faced by businesses of all sizes in today’s marketplace. She successfully led a number of large bids and managed multidisciplinary teams to generate business and provide clients with tangible business improvement solutions. Whilst working in this demanding, pressured environment, Elena learnt the true value of believing in people’s ability to achieve, provided the motivation is strong enough.
She decided then to formalise her experience and train as a Coach. Since starting her own business, Elena has gained the Advanced Diploma in Coaching, is a PEOPLE Model™ Licensed Practitioner and has successfully worked with clients to enhance performance through engaging the workforce.
