Individual Planning

Development, strategic and business planning is absolutely essential if you want to be clear of the direction in which you want your organisation to move, but all this effort will be meaningless unless the people who have responsibility for delivering the plans are clear about what they need to do to achieve your organisation’s results.

  • Directors and trustees road maps

 

Most companies and organisations have a governance group of some kind, whether it is called a Board of Directors, Trustees, Council, or Management or Executive Committee. More often than not, these groups meet regularly, the members turn up religiously for meetings, but are rarely seen or heard from in the weeks in between. Such people should be the key ambassadors of any organisation, they have legal responsibilities for accountability and ensuring resources are in place and appropriately used. Yet often do little more than rubber stamp other people’s decisions and are wheeled out when extra bodies are

required.
