What is personal performance and life coaching?

Some of the benefits of coaching include:

Enabling you to find clarity in a situation where currently you feel unsure of what is the next step to take

Help for you to find your best decision making state of mind so that you can trust your choices and move forward without doubt

Help with strategies to achieve what you want

A support mechanism to stretch you out of your comfort (or discomfort!) zone

Someone to help you maintain motivation on action where you might previously have given up

How is coaching different from other forms of support?

The key differences between coaching and all the other forms of support you can seek including counselling, mentoring, etc, is that:

Coaches aren’t the expert in the situation – you are the best person to judge what’s right for you – so you won’t be given advice or told what to do.

Coaches expect you to take action – coaching is not about talking about an issue without taking action to make a change. So if you’re not willing to do something to improve your current situation, coaching won’t be the right path for you at this time.

And, don’t worry if you don’t know what action to take now, that’s where our expert coaches will help you…

How Coaching Works

Coaching sessions usually last 45 minutes. These can be either face-to-face or over the telephone. Having a series of coaching sessions is ideal because this enables you to build up momentum to be empowered to continue with your action plans after the coaching sessions finish. We suggest that booking a series of 4 coaching sessions is a good starting point. But, some people like to see whether coaching is for them and so one-off sessions can be arranged.

“Success... seems to be connected with action. Successful men keep moving. They make mistakes, but they don't quit.”

Conrad Hilton
